A vehicle accident was reported at approximately 7:50 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 22 near Riverside. The two-vehicle accident happened on Highway 22, west of Highway 218, near Bud’s Custom Meats. Riverside Fire Department, Riverside First Responders, Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Iowa State Patrol and Washington County Ambulance were on the scene.

Traffic was slowed to one lane for some time.
