The Iowa Mennonite School boys’ basketball team (14-8) is looking to get their second postseason win tonight as they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Montezuma Braves (20-3).

IMS is coming off of a blowout win in the first round against HLV, where they won last Thursday 70-31. Iowa Mennonite School senior Kobi Russom had a season high 21 points to lead the team. Senior Danny Lam also had his season best with 17 points against HLV and senior Peyton Miller had 14 points to finish out the contest. The 70 points scored by IMS tied their single best scoring output this season.

The Braves come in winning 20 out of 23 games this season. Montezuma in averages 58.4 points per game. They are also coming off of a dominating performance in the first round winning against North English, 65-27. The Braves have two players who average in double figures; junior Brody McKeag averages 13 points per game, while sophomore Dakota Strong averages 12.6 points per game.
