The Iowa Mennonite School boys’ basketball team (13-7) enters the postseason looking to get a first round victory at Montezuma high school tonight as they take on the HLV Warriors (3-18).

IMS comes into this bout averaging 53.8 points per game. Their leading scorer is junior Eli Gingerich who is averaging 16.3 points per game and is shooting 89.5 percent from the charity stripe. Another player who has stepped up is senior Peyton Miller who is now averaging 10.3 points per game and is shooting 50.6 percent from the field.

HLV comes in struggling to get the basketball through the hoop, scoring just 33.8 points per game. Leading them in points per game is senior Tanner Strudthoff who averages 13 points.
