The offensive continued to struggle for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team (1-16) as they took on non conference opponent the Northeast Goose Lake Rebels (13-4). As you heard on AM 1380, FM 102.5 and on KCIIradio.com Mid-Prairie would lose in this one with a score of 60-18. The offense was nearly non existent as the Rebels would go on a 28-0 run in the first to the second quarter with the halftime score at 45-5. In the second half a lot of the reserves would get playing time for both teams as it was running clock through most of the second half.
Mid-Prairie has lost 15 of their 16 games and will be playing Iowa City Regina in a River Valley Conference showdown at home. Game will start at 3:00 p.m., in Wellman.
