According to AccuWeather Washington may receive up to eight inches of snow this weekend. Mike Carow, meteorologist with WeatherEye, explains, some models show one to three inches of snow while others show as much as six inches. He adds temperatures are also expected to drop and winds are likely to pick up over the weekend, which may cause drifting snow. UPDATE Jan. 29, 8:15 a.m.: At this time AccuWeather forecasts show 4.1 inches of snow falling in the area over the weekend.
