Tomorrow a five-session course for women titled “Managing for Today and Tomorrow: Farm Transition Planning” begins in Washington. The program will focus on management processes and what decisions need to be made for a successful transition. The program is geared for women and will cover passing down the farm through business, estate, retirement and succession planning. Hands-on activities and interaction with local professionals will be part of the course. It is open to participants of all ages and experience levels. The course begins tomorrow and will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Washington Extension Office and will be held the following four Tuesdays.
