The resignation of the Kalona Chamber of Commerce’s manager is effective February 1st. Norma Yoder has worked for the chamber since 2006. In addition to handling the day to day operations of the chamber, she also assisted with the promotion of Kalona through print and digital media.
Chamber President Colette Yoder says they hope to have a replacement by next month. She adds it’s possible a candidate will be selected at the board’s meeting scheduled for the 20th.
Another resignation was accepted before the year ended. The resignation of Teresa Fleming, who worked in the Chamber office, was effective the first of the year.
