With snow in the forecast for this weekend, Kalona residents are reminded to follow the city’s snow related ordinances. When snowstorms hit the city, homeowners are asked to move their cars off the street so plows can clear the snow that has accumulated.

The city also has an ordinance that requires residents to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks within 24 hours after a snow event.

According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm expected to arrive tomorrow morning has the potential to drop up to four inches of snow by Sunday morning.
