The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks girls’ basketball team (3-2 overall; 2-1 conference) returns to the court this evening for a conference showdown. The Golden Hawks welcome the Tipton Tigers (1-3 overall; 1-2 conference) to Tim Grady Gymnasium for a River Valley Conference contest.

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks are coming into the game off a 50-45 road victory against the West Liberty Comets Friday. Senior Ali Riggan scored a game-high 13 points and swiped five steals in the victory. Tipton lost their previous game, a non-conference game with Wyoming, 51-21 Saturday.

Mid-Prairie swept the season series against Tipton last season, including a 43-20 victory in Wellman.
