Three KCII Area schools had basketball games Monday evening, and overall the teams had very good showings.

In girls’ action:
The Keota Eagle girls’ basketball team was the only area school to suffer a loss last night, falling 43-35 at home to BGM. The loss drops Keota overall record to 5-3.

The Sigourney Savage girls’ basketball team edged English Valleys 66-53 last night in Sigourney. The win improves the Savages to 4-2 overall on the season.

Finally, the Highland Huskies girls’ basketball team shut out Harmony in the second half on their way to a 68-6 victory over Harmony. The win improves Highland to 6-1 overall.

In boys’ action:

The Keota Eagles bested BGM 59-39 in Keota last night. The win improves the Eagles to 4-2 on the season.

The Sigourney Savages stay unbeaten after a 60-24 victory at home over English Valleys. The win improves Sigourney to 4-0 on the season.

Lastly, the Highland Huskies extended their current winning streak to three games after a 72-42 win over Harmony. The victory improves Highland to 6-1 overall.
