Owners of the Goncho Apartment building had until Monday, April 21st, to abate the hearing panel’s findings. Steve Donnolly, Building and Zoning Administrator for the City of Washington, explains the owners were to clean up the meth after the building was deemed dangerous. The case is with the city attorney at this time.

JARS Enterprises, the owners of the building, were given 30 days to mitigate the problem in mid-March. Five apartments and common areas tested positive for methamphetamine. At the time, clean up was estimated to cost $25,680.
