A local county’s 4-H organization is attempting to raise enough money to cover all of their participant’s registration fees. Louisa County Extension Program Manager Kathy Vance says their soup supper and auction is now in its third year. The last two years they’ve raised 90% of the $6,000 needed to cover the registration fees of their 200 4-Hers. She says the bulk of that comes from the auctioning off of desserts made by the county’s 4-Hers. Serving begins at 5pm at the Fairgrounds Youth Center, auction begins at 6.
