With Wellman’s popular home improvement grant program wrapped up, the city is looking to offer it again. The City Council has approved a CDBG grant application for $232,471, with the city matching $12,000. The application is due to the Iowa Economic Development Authority Wednesday. A total of $194,000 was given to residents through Wellman’s Housing Rehabilitation Program, which was ended in October.
