Jury selection for the murder trial of a Wapello County man continues today. The process began yesterday at the Henry County Courthouse. Seth Techel is accused of murdering his wife at their home near Agency in May 2012. His first trial ended in a mistrial this spring, due to a hung jury, and a request for a change of venue moved the proceedings to Mt Pleasant.  The trial’s media coordinator says opening statements could begin as early as tomorrow morning.

Techel is charged with two felonies, first degree murder and nonconsensual termination of a pregnancy.
