The role Iowa played in the Civil War will be explored tomorrow, during a concert at the Washington Community Theater .

Seven Score and Ten will be presented by Red Cedar Chamber Music, with Michael Zahs narrating. Zahs says he will talk about Iowa’s connection to the Confederacy and the part music played in the War. Also, excerpts from the 1,000 pages of letters sent to a woman during the Civil War Zahs obtained last year will also be shared. The concert begins at 3pm.
