The City of Washington’s tennis courts will be getting a facelift soon. Washington Parks Superintendent Tim Widmer states work on the courts will begin the week after Labor Day and is expected to take a few weeks. Widmer adds that he is excited about the new courts. An Illinois company is doing the work.

The project, near Case Field, is funded by a $27,000 Washington County Riverboat Foundation Grant.
