This weekend, movies dating back to the 1890’s will be presented in the same building they were shown at a century ago. The Brinton Film Festival is being held tomorrow and Saturday beginning at 7:30pm at the Ainsworth Opera House. According to Michael Zahs, the collection belonged to Frank and Indiana Brinton of Washington, who toured the upper Midwest showing the films in the 1890s and early 1900s.

He says many of the films that are played are the only copies in existence.
