Kalona’s annual town festival gets started tomorrow evening. The two day event will kick off with the fun run at 5:30. On Saturday, the day starts with the Kalona Methodist Church French Toast Breakfast at 6:30, with the parade to follow at 10. Grace Schumann, Chamber president and head of the organizing committee, says new events this year include the car show at 11, and the dog show from 2 to 3pm. Most activities will take place on Main Street and on the grassy lot east of the Chamber of Commerce.
