Mid-Prairie girl’s soccer plays round two of the regional playoffs tonight when they host Fairfield.

The Golden Hawks are 10-5-1, and have 70 goals this season,  and 30 goals against. Meghan Redlinger has 22 of the goals for Mid-Prairie, while Alison Riggan and Kattie Redlinger have 25 combined goals.

Fairfield is 7-6 this year and has scored 28 goals and had 24 against. Claudia Sloat has 14 goals for Fairfield and leads the team.

Mid-Prairie head coach Bristol Harris said his girl’s have the right attitude to win going into tonight’s game.

“We keep the girls moving, our practices the last two days have been nice and light to keep them moving, but their attitude and general feeling is, they’re ready for it, and they are really talking some big time stuff. So as long as they keep the positive attitude going, we’ll keep the momentum going.”

Mid-Prairie and Fairfield play tonight in Wellman at 5 P.M.
