The area Bows and Bullets 4-H Club recently received awards for the 2013 Winter Postal competition. During the winter months, 4-H members gathered at club range times to shoot and collect scores, which were then submitted for the winter season competition across the state. Junior through senior Bows and Bullets members submitted scores in air rifle, archery-compound, archery-recurve, and smallbore. Area members received the following honors:
Joe Dunbar – 1st Junior Air Rifle
Richard Dunbar – 2nd Intermediate Air Rifle,
Joseph Van Zante – 2nd Intermediate Archery-Recurve
Other participants included Kyle Basten, Reid Basten, Hunter Mast, Jack Streb, and Jacob Van Zante.
