The Kalona Library is participating in a statewide effort to digitalize documents from Iowa’s past. Volunteers at the library are sending scanned documents to the State Library Association for the Iowa Heritage Digital Collection. Kalona Library Director Ann Skaden says the artifacts could be available for viewing on their website as early as this summer.

Volunteers have begun scanning minutes from Historical Village meetings that date back to the 1970’s.
