Mid-Prairie High School will hold their prom this evening. The dance will be followed by the annual post prom activities at the Parkside YMCA in Wellman. According to Marilyn Stumpf, who oversees the planning of the event, it gives the kids something to do after prom and makes the experience last longer. She adds it also keeps them out of trouble. Post prom begins at 11:30 tonight and continues until 4 in the morning.
