An update on the progress being made to form a Community Building Committee is expected at tonight’s Kalona City Council meeting. The second meeting dealing with this proposed group was held last week, but a formal committee has not been established. When it’s formed, the committee will see if there’s a want or need within the community to work with Mid-Prairie toward a shared facility, using tools like mailed surveys.
