The warm front, rain, and the snow melt led to minor flooding in areas of Washington County Sunday.

Areas around the county have seen flooding near the English River, including south of Kalona along HW 1, and in Riverside near Hall Park.

Rusty Rogerson, city administrator in Riverside, says they don’t anticipate any damage to their ball fields.

Washington County Maintenance Superintendent JP Van Sickle says they expect the English to crest today, and return to normal tomorrow afternoon.
