An update on the Lake Darling project was given last week. Department of Natural Resources’ Fisheries Biologist, Chad Dolan, says their project engineer gave those who attended the meeting an idea of when work will commence and when it could be done. Once work resumes on April 15th, it’ll take 2 to 3 months to dredge the lake and redo the shoreline. He adds that the project could be delayed by rain.

When the project is completed Lake Darling State Park will feature new boat ramps, concrete roads, a fishing trail around the lake, and a completely rehabbed campground.
