The public is invited to the first meeting of a committee formed to look at a proposed building that would be shared by the City of Kalona and Mid-Prairie School District. City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says the meeting tomorrow night at 7 will go over the history behind this proposal and provide time for community input. He shares the goal of this committee will be to determine whether there’s interest in the community, whether city funds would be allocated, and what purpose the building would serve.
