After a day of work, roads in Washington County are in good shape. Following a winter storm that dropped over 4 inches of snow, road crews were out in the early morning hours plowing and putting down salt. Washington County Maintenance Superintendent JP Van Sickle says the paved roads in the county are dry. He adds they’ll finish up the gravel roads tomorrow morning. Washington Maintenance and Construction Supervisor, JJ Bell, says the main roads in town are basically just wet at this point. He adds that with the potential for more snow Sunday night, the large snow piles near downtown would be removed by Tuesday at the earliest.
