The National Weather Service is asking for help from the public with making their terminology more clear.  The agency uses words like watch, warning, and advisory to describe how likely it is that certain weather will arrive.  After a survey, they say many people have confused one term for another.  One of the proposed changes would be to describe the danger level of storms.  Public comment can be made following a link at the National Weather Service website.
