The Washington County Extension office will offer a class about beekeeping.  Among other reasons, beekeeping is good for honey production and plant and garden pollination.  The eight-week course will cover the fundamentals of beekeeping, and it is targeted at beginners to the field.

Topics will include learning the basics of the beekeeping trade, but also learning to better understand bees themselves.  The class will meet in the evenings and begins January 9.  Contact the extension office for more information.
