The Washington School Board approved the SIAC Calendar for the 2013-2014 school year. The approved calendar matches the schedule that was enacted for this year making every other Wednesday an early out and a professional development day for staff. Board members cited consistency in scheduling for both parents, who may need to plan with day care or after school activities for their children, and advanced notice for staff as reason for approval of a calendar that matches this year’s schedule.
