A vacant building at the Orchard Hill complex on the west side of Washington will soon house two HACAP programs.  Washington County Supervisor Wes Rich says that they have replaced plumbing and heating, and added office partitions.  Now they are finishing painting, installing ceilings, and preparing to bring in the doors and fixtures.

Rich says that HACAP’s Head Start program and the food pantry are expected to be in the office in early January.

Community Development Block Grant money is funding the project.  The County Supervisors set a grant hearing for December 4th when residents can ask questions or express any concerns.
