Two employees announced their resignation at Monday’s Council meeting in Riverside. City Clerk Missy Carter and Deputy City Clerk Teresa Sladek both announced they would be leaving at the meeting.

Carter will have her last day next Friday while Sladek’s will be this Friday.  At the meeting the Council decided to use a help wanted ad to fill the vacancies.

When asked what the reasoning behind the resignation was Carter declined to comment.
