The City of Washington Maintenance and Construction Department is getting ready to end the flushing of fire hydrants.  Maintenance and Construction Supervisor JJ Bell says the process started on April 23rd and was to from 10 to 14 days.

During the process, residents may experience loss of water pressure, discoloration or rust.  If you still have questions regarding the hydrant flushing, contact the Washington Maintenance and Construction Department.
