Severe Weather Awareness week is coming to an end, but if you would like to hear more about how Washington County deals with emergencies, the Washington County Emergency Management Commission will be meeting on Wednesday. The meeting will include a report from Emergency management Coordinator Larry Smith. The commission will also authorize the purchase of equipment and supplies. The meeting will close with an opportunity for the public to give input to the commission and a date setting for their next meeting. The meeting is Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Sheriff’s Office.
