The Washington Maintenance and Construction Department is getting ready to resume regular yard waste pick up for the year.  Maintenance and Construction Department Supervisor JJ Bell says they are starting their routes today.  All yard waste must be bundled in Washington yard waste bags with the City seal on the bag.

Bell adds there are copies of yard waste regulations available at City Hall and on the city’s website.  Anyone wanting to know more can contact the Maintenance and Construction Department office at (319) 653-2947.
