Residents in parts of Washington, Keokuk and Jefferson counties need to be prepared for a power outage early tomorrow morning.  Justin Foss with Alliant Energy says they are working with ITC Midwest and cutting off power for some construction work in Washington.  He says power will be turned off around 3:30 Wednesday morning and will be off for less than one hour.

Foss says the 2200 affected customers are being notified prior to the planned outage.  The areas that will lose power are:  Wayland, Brighton, Richland, Packwood, Ollie, Pleasant Plain, Trenton, East Pleasant, Coppock, Noble and some rural customers near these communities.
