The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has released their All-State teams and Washington’s Sydney Greiner was named 2nd-Team All-State in class 3A.

Greiner was the lone area player to garner the honor after scoring 14.9 points-per-game despite missing eight contests this season with a broken thumb.

Other notable award winners were Mackenzie Bigbee (Williamsburg) and Taylor Shull (Mount Pleasant) who were both named to the 1st-team in class 3A.  Regina’s Zoe Dutchik was named 3rd-team in class 2A while state champion North Mahaska had Mallory Boyle (1st-team) and Tara Smith (3rd-team) honored and Lynnville-Sully had to girls named all-state including 1st-teamer Brianna James with Brittnay Bryan being named 3rd-team all-state.

You can find each class’s all-state teams on the IGHSAA website.
