The Washington City Council is meeting tonight and will be holding the first reading about changing streets in Washington.  This reading will be to change an ordinance to amend the city code to make Sitler Drive a one way between Iowa Avenue and Avenue B and have new no parking zones on Sitler Drive, South Avenue E and Tyler Streets.

The Council will also consider approving a resolution of a contract award for the West Side sanitary sewer interceptor project.

They will be considering a motion to ratify the publication of notice of a Council appointment as well as hold discussion and consideration of amending the agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation to mill and overlay Highway 92.

The Washington City Council meets tonight at 6:00 in the old public library.
