The Washington Demon are back in the football postseason after missing last year. The Demons qualified as the third seed out of District 6 with a thrilling win over Williamsburg 21-14 with a Jake Redlinger 17 yard touchdown run in the last minute and a half. Now Washington will head to Laporte City to face Union on Wednesday. The last time the Demons were in the postseason was 2009 when they played in the sub-state round against Centerville. The state has since done away with the sub-state term and it is now referred to as the first round of the playoffs. Union is 7-2 and 5-2 in their district. Their two losses were to Maquoketa and Central Dewitt. The Demons are 5-4 and 4-3 in district play. We’ll have the game
