National 4-H Week is ending and 4‑H youth have been honored this week who have made an impact in the community.  4-H Youth Coordinator Amy Green says the different parts of 4-H that are taught is to have the youth set goals, help them communicate, reflect on what is learned, make healthy choices and community service.

She says the youth have been working on recruiting new members this week as well.

Green notes there are 18 clubs that cover the county.  She says to become a part of 4-H to contact the Washington County Extension.
