Three area baseball players received All-State honors from the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. In Class 3A, Washington’s Anthony Ossman and Josh Moore were selected second team All-State. Ossman hit 368 for the season, with 8 doubles, a triple, scored 46 runs, had 19 rbi’s and stole 45 bases and was only caught twice. Moore hit 425, 16 doubles, a triple and a home run, scored 42 runs, had 30 rbi’s, and 30 steals. Mount Pleasant had two selected first team Henry Kreiger-Coble, and Braden Shull and Connor Shull was selected second team.

In Class 1A, Sigourney’s Andrew Utterback was selected first team All-State. Utterback hit 584, 9 home runs, 29 rbi’s and scored 52 runs.
