The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association (ICA) says membership in Washington County increased in the last year.  Dal Grooms with the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association says Washington County’s membership increased by 10 percent in 2011.  He says this past year’s success was credited to the group’s more proactive involvement in core issues, as well as the work of local members to reach out to fellow cattle producers.

The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association represents about 9,500 beef-producing families and associated companies dedicated to the future of Iowa’s beef industry.
