The Keokuk County Board of Supervisors met in regular session yesterday morning and discussed a proposal regarding a tax sale certificate.  Supervisor Daryl Wood says a certificate of purchase has been given to Mark Alan Ales in exchange for the payment of $2500 plus a transfer fee and publication costs.  He adds this is complete satisfaction of any and all outstanding, unpaid property tax, special assessment, penalty, and interests.

Wood says the Supervisors also held discussion on an employment package range for the County Engineer.  He says no decision has been made yet regarding the filling of the vacant position.

Wood says they also changed the policy on County driveway installations.  He says the county will no longer be installing driveways to residences because of budget reasons.  He adds this policy takes affect for all future requests.
