The Washington County Engineer’s Office is reminding county residents that the deadline for getting a dust control permit in the county is April 30th.  Washington County Engineer David Patterson says the permits can be obtained for $50 through any of the pre-approved contractors.  He notes an additional $50 late fee is charged for any applications received after the due date.

Patterson says residents should turn in their application and payment to their contractor and keep their dust control locations marked until November 1st.  To find out more about the County’s dust control policy and a complete list of pre-approved vendors, click here.
