The American Meat Institute has announced its recipients for the 2011 Environmental Recognition Awards.  Among the awardees were Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. of Columbus Junction. Mike Grophe, spokesperson for Tyson in Columbus Junction says the company was proud to receive the award, and that Tyson is continuously working to maintain and improve on their environmental standards.
