The Washington City Council met in regular session last night and approved their Community Development Block Grant policy.  Under this policy, all resolutions have to be approved in order for the city to keep the CDBG funds.  The resolutions approved under the CDBG policy are:  the adoption of Evaluation Criteria for the Procurement of Services, the adoption of the Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan, Prohibition of Use of Excessive Force by the Police Department and adoption of the Code of Conduct.

The Council also approved a resolution for the submission of a grant application by the Cable Committee to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation of $40,000 for the use of equipment and software.  The City Council’s next regular meeting will be Wednesday, April 6th at 6:00 pm in the old public library.
