The annual meeting for the Southeast Iowa Agricultural Research Association is happening at the Washington County Extension.  Field Agronomist with the ISU Extension Jim Fawcett says the meeting will have a presentation on the future role of ISU Extension on research farms.  Other presentations will be given on research occurring on the Extension farms, corn transgenic traits and nematodes that feed on corn.

Fawcett says everyone is invited to the annual meeting.  He says 5-year memberships can be purchased at the meeting.

Fawcett says membership benefits include updates on farm research results, invitations to the farm field days and a chance to participate in research activities.  The meeting is tomorrow at 10:00 am at the Washington County Extension office.
