Representative Jarad Klein has also commented on outgoing Governor Culver’s Condition of the State speech. Culver delivered the speech this morning. Representative Klein says the speech had some accuracies, some half-truths and did not give an accurate picture regarding the state budget. He says one of the inaccuracies was the budget. Klein says Governor Culver was not spending responsibly. He says because of that, everyone will have to face cuts in the future. Representative Klein adds he is looking forward to meeting his constituents during the Legislative Briefing on Saturday.
