The Mid Prairie Board of Education met Monday and one of the main items they discussed was the Elementary study Group Report. Superintendent Mark Schneider says for the past year there has been a group looking at the structure of the elementary schools in the district and evaluating them and if the board wanted to look into a different way of structuring them. The consensus of the group was that the elementary structure works for them at this time. The Board also discussed the education jobs fund and decided to wait and see if they needed that money in the spring. They also discussed the High School Construction project which will be put out for bids next week. They will also be holding a Public hearing on the design for all concerned citizens and parents on Nov. 29th.
