It’s a big night for the 4th ranked Sigourney-Keota Cobras as they host number one ranked Iowa City Regina for the right to go to the dome. Both teams are unbeaten and haven’t been challenged much this season especially for Regina. Regina this season hasn’t given up many yards and S-K put up crazy rushing numbers averaging close to 400-yards a game. The Cobras beat Camanche last Monday 48-22 while Regina beat Mediapolis 59-0. Regina will be without their stand out defensive line man Braden Lehman who was ejected from the game Monday on a personal foul call, so he will have to sit out a game. Eight man, Class A and 4A had to play Friday after their Monday second round games, 1A, 2A, and 3A have had the benefit of a week in between rounds and Sigourney-Keota Head Coach Mark Shilb says it’s been nice to have that longer break. Their leading rusher Andrew Utterback returned to the line up last game and rushed for 258 yards and 5 touchdowns.
